Hi guys, My name is Melody Hames, I am internationally known as ‘The Horse Barber’ and I share online videos and education on horse clipping. In todays video is about clippers not working as they should. Maybe you are here because your clipper is not working? Here you will see an example of a problem that can happen with horse/dog/animal clippers. If your clippers are not working consistently or keep cutting out, this is one of the most common problems and causes. It is easy to identify and thankfully also an easy fix! A faulty wire often happens due to wear and tear. Send you clipper off for a service to a reputable place and they will be able to fix the wire at the same time, and its not too expensive either. Much cheaper than buying a brand new set. I always use reputable equipment and not cheap copy clippers. It pays off to look after your equipment and only use quality clippers in the long run. Many cheap copy clippers cannot be fixed easily, if at all. Thank you for watching! If you like our video please subscribe, pop us a like or comment! I post horse clipping educational content , hints and tips tip a few times a month, so keep your eyes peeled for those too!

Hi guys! My name is Melody Hames and the horse featured is my Welsh Cob ‘Romeo’. Romeo is N/P3 and N/P4 and was tested in December 2021. Prior to this I have spent 8 years struggling to help him, fix him and work out what on earth has been going on. It has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, frustration and confusion.
Having the diagnosis has helped my sanity no end and has also helped me to achieve significant improvements in Romeos complex symptoms. In todays video I have put together some of our lunging and schooling videos to show you some of the symptoms that Romeo struggles with during trot and canter transitions as well as subtle things to look out for that may or may not show up in your PSSM2 journey. Please see our other PSSM2 video if you would like to know about the vitamins and minerals that have helped improve Romeos symptoms. I will be posting more videos, so hit subscribe to follow our PSSM2 story 🙂 Mels & Romeo X Disclaimer *This video is available for anyone who wishes to research other peoples experience with PSSM2 horses. Any unhelpful or critical comments will be removed and users automatically blocked. It’s unfortunate that I feel the need to write this but it is evident that there are still many closed minded people who think that a whipping and kicking will fix these horses. That folks, is NOT the case. Thankfully more and more people are becoming aware of PSSM2 and are able to help their horses become more comfortable, pain free and happier.
