Humane Mane Pulling For Romeo… And Here Is How I Did It 💫

In this video tutorial I’m going to show you how I humanely pulled the mane of my Welsh Cob, Romeo. A horses comfort and well being is paramount and this is the best way to mane pull and achieve a fresh look – all without causing the horse pain and discomfort. Romeo is super sensitive and he has taught me how to pay really close attention and figure out alternative ways of doing things!

Our model in this video is Romeo and you have probably seen him in other tutorials already by now!  

First and foremost when I work with any horse I want to ensure that they are happy and comfortable and I provide hair clipping and trimming solutions that are PAIN-FREE. I have put together how I pull a horses mane using humane methods to show that traditional pulling is not the only (or best option). Humane mane pulling can create the smart and tidy appearance that traditional pulling does, but ensuring the horse does not feel any pain which is critical. 

The tools I am using are an Andis Deshedding Rake and an Andis #10 blade.
