Hi my budding horse barbers!

“I can take it off but I can’t put it back on.”

That’s what you’ll hear me say if you’re one of my clients… So it’s really good practice to ensure that, as a clipper, you have clearly confirmed which clip your client wants before you get to work. What do I mean I hear you ask?….

For example, some people like an ear tidy and other people prefer them left on. So to avoid any unnecessary mistakes, be sure to discuss these two things with your client,

1: You are doing what is best for the horse

2: You are clear on what the client wants.

After all, when we have removed it (the hair!) we cannot reattach it.

The model today is Sammy, a beautiful Connemara from Ireland.
